I'm in the same boat, the only person I've personally seen swing Demarini is myself. After trying out the Evo Ax for a decent price I'm working on going to Demarini only. If I can just break this 454 mutant.

I believe the first part of being a factory hitter is being involved in the people, whether on the internet or in person. Its about being involved in the questions and problems people have,
Being a Factory Hitter is not about your athletic ability or how good you are at softball. I know a couple FH's that are pimp daddy softball players with a long resume of success, I also know a couple factory hitters that don't even play competitive tourneys, they play league and play a rec tournament now and then.
Oh yeah and you have to truly love Demarini all the way. Support them and believe in them......I have tried to become a factory hitter in the past but since realized that there is more than just having 15 Demarini's in your trunk or being good at softball that it involves. Whether you become one or not just keep the same attitude towards Demarini and keep representing them and if you don't become a FH at least you become better a softball and better as a person trying to get guys to swing the best, LOL.
My advice, spend your free time taking BP and getting better as a player. That will get you far more respect from the locals than being a FH.

There are a few FHs in the NC/VA/MD area however I know that not all FHs are doing their job by earning the title of FH. Factory Hitters does not mean that you only hold your hand out and ask for free gear ie... bats, bags or gloves. It means that you get the product in the hands of the public and know what you are talking about.
Contact Mike Mallory (VA) or Pony Vinson (MD) they both play for Semper/Demarini...new Demarini team out of VA/MD area and they can talk to you about the line of Demarini bats. Hope this helps

He is a coach for younger Baseball players and reps the product like a ***** in his softball league down south of me.........He is the man, a great guy and a great person. Goes to show you dont have to be a All star to be a Factory hitter. Which is a good thing, most good softball players think they are above everyone else and wouldn't rep half as good as you(iowa kid) or a guy like Mike.

Mike is a very gtg dude.. Met him not too long away.. He does a ton for the area, in all sports not just slowpitch.. I'm not the all star of our area by any means, but I work on my game very hard and try too rep te company as good as I can.. And I feel like I'm doin a good job and getting the hang of things pretty well.. Lots of behind the scenes stuff that no one else that all want to be factory hitters would do.. 100% back the product and company and do what I can to help and grow

True statement, You are doing alot for the company. Good to see in a place where so few players swing Demar's. Keep doing work, if Miken and Easton keep putting out **** for bats pretty soon our job will be easy to get guys to switch. People are fed up with Miken, Easton hanging by thread. Demarini and the z1000 are the new hype around here

Once people try a DeMarini they buy a Demarini......That has been my statement for the last couple of years. People try my sticks, then ask where they can get one................Seems that most won't take the chance on buying a 300 stick but after they try one, they go running to **** sporting goods and have no problem getting one.

That's basically what it's been for me also.. Once u talk someone into at least trying them, they love them, but u and I are different in that I battled the whole Utrip ban all last summer.. I love that bat and I want one, but I'm not buying a bat until the new ones are out.. Is mostly what i got.. Then an hour later can I borrow that (insert cartel,j2u,stadium,legend whatever) for this game.. Some folks had no problem buying anyways.. But should spread like wildfire this summer once the new sticks start coming out.. Lots of local guys are getting away from Easton and miken, which used to be big here, now worth is the other big one.. But cartel took interest over most those guys

Just moved to Scottsville area near charlottesville, playing with the Kingsmen. I just traded for my first demarini (stadium) and was just looking at the huge following the Demarini brand has on sbf's site and I am interested in becoming part of it, first i have to swing the bat first, but there is some loyal players on here and i love loyalty. If everthing goes well with the bat which i am sure it will, i would like to pick your brain about the demar line and what it takes to become a factory hitter.
